Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market forecasts and organizational vision
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, neuromorphic computing) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future trends into actionable product roadmaps
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track progress against 2026 industry benchmarks
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Present future technology scenarios to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Build and lead a high-impact innovation incubator team
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-tech forecasting
- Proven track record in scaling innovation initiatives across Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, AI ethics, or sustainable tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (e.g., CFTE, APF)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals or major industry conferences
- Experience building global innovation ecosystems with $50M+ budgets
