- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with commercial potential
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future tech into corporate strategy
- Author thought leadership publications on technology evolution and societal impact
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets for experimental technology initiatives
- Mentor junior strategists in future-focused methodologies and frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AGI, or sustainable tech
- Proven track record of launching scalable technology solutions
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Innovation
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (e.g., CFTe)
- Experience securing and managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Published thought leadership in technology or business innovation journals
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 commercially deployed future-tech solutions
