Responsibilities
- Architect 2026+ technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, AI ethics, and space tech convergence
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for sustainable tech solutions (carbon-negative AI, closed-loop systems)
- Develop strategic partnerships with NASA, ESA, and national quantum research consortia
- Guide policy development for emerging tech governance frameworks
- Mentor interdisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and futurists
- Present breakthrough concepts to C-suite executives and government stakeholders
- Monitor global tech disruption vectors and recommend preemptive innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with proven impact on 3+ disruptive innovations
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, neural-symbolic AI, or orbital infrastructure
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech ethics or governance
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding from government/private sources
- Proficiency in futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Portfolio demonstrating 2+ commercialized future-tech solutions
