This role requires a blend of technical depth, strategic foresight, and leadership to transform disruptive concepts into scalable solutions.
As a key member of our Innovation Council, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D teams, and global partners to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities in quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech, and human-machine augmentation. Your insights will directly shape our $2B+ R&D portfolio and position us as the industry leader in 2026 and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology strategy roadmap with measurable KPIs for adoption and ROI
- Lead cross-functional sprints to prototype and validate emerging tech solutions (quantum, AR/VR, neuromorphic computing)
- Establish ethical frameworks and governance policies for AI/ML deployments
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and Fortune 500 companies
- Present technology forecasts and risk assessments to the Board of Directors
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons and tech evangelism programs
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget with quarterly strategic pivots
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or unicorn startup experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record in launching at least two breakthrough technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or sustainable tech
- Certification in technology foresight methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Executive-level presentation skills with 50+ keynote speeches
- Published thought leadership in IEEE/ACM journals or equivalent
