Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum computing, neural interfaces, autonomous systems)
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams to prototype breakthrough solutions
- Identify and evaluate disruptive technologies with market potential >$1B
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global tech leaders
- Present visionary concepts to C-suite executives and investors
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies through internal innovation programs
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven track record in emerging tech
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI, biotech, space tech, etc.)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leader with 10+ industry publications/keynotes
- Experience scaling innovations from concept to global deployment
- Strong network with venture capital and Fortune 500 tech executives
