Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 societal and business trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, etc.)
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies with global impact potential
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government labs
- Present future technology scenarios to C-suite and board members
- Manage $15M+ R&D budgets for experimental projects
- Author white papers on ethical AI and sustainable tech frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record of scaling emerging technologies to commercial viability
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic engineering, or bio-interfaces
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Experience with global technology policy development (UN, WEF, etc.)
- Exceptional strategic planning with measurable outcomes
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust, etc.)
- Portfolio of 3+ patented technologies
