Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with emerging trends in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions using advanced ML frameworks and quantum algorithms
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-7 year market impact
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global innovation labs
- Present technology visions to C-suite executives and board members with compelling data-driven narratives
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets for experimental R&D initiatives
- Champion ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation practices
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with proven impact at Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, neuromorphic systems, or synthetic biology
- Published research in IEEE or Nature Technology with minimum 50 citations
- Experience leading cross-disciplinary teams of 20+ engineers and scientists
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, or related field from Tier 1 institution
- Deep understanding of emerging regulatory landscapes for AI and quantum technologies
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating shipped products with >1M users or equivalent impact
