Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with 2026 commercial viability
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead R&D initiatives for prototype development and proof-of-concept validation
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future technologies into current roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and investors
- Monitor global tech policy developments and regulatory implications
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product development, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Experience developing technology roadmaps with 3-5 year horizons
- Strong analytical skills with ability to forecast market disruption
- Executive communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business preferred
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight or innovation
