- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Lead research initiatives in emerging technologies (quantum, AI ethics, bioinformatics)
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future tech into commercial offerings
- Build and mentor a specialized innovation lab with PhD-level researchers
- Present strategic vision to stakeholders and industry conferences
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory shifts impacting 2026+ landscape
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products (quantum/AI projects)
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
- Published research in IEEE/Nature journals preferred
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D funding
