Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with long-term business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with transformative potential (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to anticipate market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops and scenario planning sessions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board of directors
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry pioneers
- Monitor competitive landscapes and regulatory developments affecting emerging tech
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in corporate strategy, innovation management, or emerging technology
- Proven track record of successfully implementing future-focused technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum computing, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical and scenario planning capabilities with data-driven decision making
- Strong presentation skills with ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing innovation budgets
