Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to integrate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech) into core products
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with potential 2026-2030 market impact
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members with data-driven insights
- Manage a $5M+ innovation portfolio, tracking ROI and adjusting strategies based on tech evolution
- Build and lead a high-performance team of futurists and technical architects
- Represent the company at global tech forums and industry summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of launching successful products/services based on emerging tech
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, neurotech, or sustainable tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (MBA preferred)
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFIP)
- Experience managing multi-million dollar budgets and cross-continental teams
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry publications
- Fluency in data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI) and scenario planning methodologies
