Responsibilities
- Architect 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration) for strategic adoption
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Develop patentable frameworks for next-gen human-machine interaction systems
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budgets with ROI-driven decision making
- Foster partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record launching disruptive tech products/services
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., neuromorphic computing, sustainable tech)
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-level audiences
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (whitepapers, patents, keynotes)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex systems
- Certification in emerging technology frameworks (e.g., IEEE Foresight, Gartner Hype Cycle)
