Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum AI, neuro-interfaces, climate-tech)
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with 15+ engineers and data scientists
- Analyze global tech trends to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through compelling stakeholder presentations
- Build strategic partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and EU Innovation Labs
- Mentor junior futurists through our Tech Visionaries program
- Author industry white papers on sustainable technology adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proven track record scaling tech initiatives from concept to market
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, biotech, or sustainable energy
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier-1 journals
- Fluency in Python, R, and strategic modeling tools
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants (SBIR, NSF)
- Global network with tech thought leaders and VCs
