Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-gen technologies (AI/ML, quantum, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive trends and competitive opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and R&D labs
- Define KPIs for technology adoption and innovation ROI
- Mentor technical teams on future-proof architecture and ethical implementation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven future-tech impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Track record of scaling innovations from concept to commercialization
- Executive communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting models
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
