- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market forecasts and regulatory landscapes
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate future-tech strategies into business objectives
- Manage innovation portfolios with $50M+ annual R&D budget allocation
- Represent company at global tech summits and future-focused symposiums
- Build and lead specialized teams focused on exponential technologies
- Drive patent development for proprietary future-tech solutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership roles
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI ethics, biotech convergence
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Published thought leadership in future-tech publications
- Experience managing distributed innovation teams across 3+ continents
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management
