Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging sectors including quantum AI and biocomputing
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, design, and engineering teams
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies with commercial viability post-2025
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Author white papers on the societal impact of exponential technologies
- Manage $2M annual innovation budget for experimental projects
- Represent company at Davos, CES, and other future-tech forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with focus on exponential tech
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Physics, or Systems Engineering
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or synthetic biology
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature journals
- Experience scaling teams from 5 to 50+ innovators
- Patent portfolio or equivalent IP contributions
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from University of Houston)
