Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and business growth targets
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AI ethics) and assess commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and finance teams
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and innovation ROI tracking
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Mentor technical teams on future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products/services with $50M+ market impact
- Expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience scaling innovation initiatives across global enterprises
