What You'll Accomplish:
• Lead horizon scanning for breakthrough technologies in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
• Develop strategic frameworks for 2026+ product roadmaps
• Collaborate with C-suite to align tech initiatives with long-term business vision
• Drive innovation workshops and scenario planning sessions
• Establish KPIs for measuring future-readiness across departments
Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends and forecast industry shifts impacting 2026 landscape
- Create strategic technology adoption roadmaps with clear implementation phases
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future solutions
- Develop competitive intelligence on emerging tech players and disruptors
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Maintain a living technology ecosystem map with risk/opportunity assessments
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing long-term (5+ year) tech roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains: AI, quantum, Web3, or synthetic biology
- Certification in futures studies, strategic foresight, or equivalent
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong data storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies (preferred)
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or Business
