Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional taskforces to prototype and validate futuristic solutions (e.g., carbon-negative AI, neural interfaces)
- Analyze emerging tech trends and geopolitical shifts to identify market opportunities for 2026-2030
- Develop patent strategies for breakthrough innovations in climate-tech and human augmentation
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global innovation labs
- Present vision frameworks to C-suite and board members for $2B+ R&D allocation decisions
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-tech forecasting (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of launching technologies with $100M+ market impact
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, or Futures Studies
- Expertise in ethical AI frameworks and sustainable technology standards
- Published thought leadership in Nature, IEEE, or similar tier-1 journals
- Deep network within DARPA, WEF Technology Pioneers, or equivalent innovation ecosystems
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, R, or Julia preferred)
