Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for technology adoption through 2026, aligning with business objectives and market forecasts
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) for commercial viability
- Develop and present technology roadmaps to executive stakeholders and board members
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-generation solutions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes; provide actionable insights
- Manage a $5M innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product development, or innovation management
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, IoT, blockchain, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical and strategic planning skills with data-driven decision making
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and board-level stakeholders
- Strong network in Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and global innovation communities
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
