Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology strategy with 2026 horizon markers
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, spatial web)
- Build cross-functional innovation pipelines with Fortune 500 partners
- Lead scenario planning for disruptive market shifts
- Present strategic recommendations to Board of Directors
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI, biotech, blockchain)
- Published thought leadership in tech foresight publications
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Strategy preferred
