In this pivotal position, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D teams, and global partners to identify paradigm-shifting technologiesâfrom quantum computing to neural interfacesâand develop actionable frameworks for adoption. You'll lead cross-functional initiatives, secure multi-million dollar budgets for experimental projects, and present visionary blueprints to our board of directors and investors.
Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market disruption forecasts and industry 4.0 evolution
- Lead strategic partnerships with Silicon Valley labs, university research centers, and government innovation initiatives
- Conduct horizon-scanning analyses on AI, biotech, and spatial computing to identify $1B+ opportunity spaces
- Present quarterly innovation briefings to C-suite and board members with ROI projections and risk assessments
- Direct the FutureTech Accelerator program, funding 20+ experimental projects annually
- Develop patent portfolios and IP strategies for proprietary emerging technologies
- Coordinate with global policy teams to shape regulatory frameworks for next-gen innovations
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning, with 5+ years in C-suite or executive advisory roles
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, or neuromorphic computing)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (PhD/MSc preferred)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier industry publications (e.g., Nature, MIT Tech Review)
- Experience securing >$50M in R&D funding for experimental projects
- Deep network within DARPA, IARPA, or equivalent global innovation ecosystems
- Expertise in scenario planning, technology adoption curves, and disruption forecasting models
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python preferred) and data visualization tools
