- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and national labs
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging threats/opportunities in AI governance and synthetic biology
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven ROI models
- Mentor a team of futurists and technology scouts across global innovation hubs
- Author thought leadership publications on sustainable tech adoption pathways
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with demonstrated impact in emerging tech domains
- PhD or equivalent in Computational Science, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published research in IEEE Nature or top-tier peer-reviewed journals
- Proven track record of scaling patented technologies from lab to market
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, S-curves)
- Security clearance eligibility for national innovation program collaborations
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python/R preferred)
- Experience with ethical AI frameworks and biotech regulatory landscapes
