Responsibilities
- Architect 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 industry forecasts
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AR/VR) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling next-gen solutions
- Develop predictive models for technology adoption and market disruption
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and external stakeholders including government bodies
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Establish industry partnerships with leading research institutions and startups
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Expertise in at least three of: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotechnology, or climate tech
- Proven track record of launching technologies with $50M+ market impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in IEEE or Nature journals preferred
