- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, bio-hybrid systems)
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year adoption curves
- Present strategic recommendations to the board with ROI modeling and risk assessments
- Drive innovation incubation programs with $10M+ annual R&D budget
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Monitor global tech policy developments to influence corporate strategy
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurology with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record leading technology transformation initiatives in Fortune 500 environments
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: AI governance, quantum computing, or sustainable tech
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or similar peer-reviewed tech journals
- Deep understanding of tech policy implications (NIST, EU AI Act, etc.)
- Experience building innovation ecosystems with venture capital partnerships
