Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech convergence) for strategic adoption
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present technology strategies to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Conduct competitive analysis and market landscape research for future tech domains
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives and track ROI on R&D investments
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching next-gen tech products or services
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., AI ethics, Web3, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong executive communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
- PMP or similar strategic certification preferred
- Portfolio of implemented technology transformation initiatives
