Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable technology architectures aligned with 2026 market predictions and regulatory frameworks
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, and carbon-negative data centers
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for AI ethics, federated learning, and zero-trust infrastructure
- Partner with CTO to create 5-year technology roadmaps with 18-month implementation milestones
- Chair quarterly innovation sprints with MIT/Stanford research consortiums
- Architect cross-cloud ecosystems with blockchain-secured data provenance
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption ROI and carbon footprint reduction
- Mentor emerging talent through QuantumLeap's Future Leaders Fellowship program
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience with published research in quantum systems or neuromorphic computing
- 15+ years in architecture leadership with 3+ Fortune 500 digital transformation successes
- Proven expertise in designing quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols and federated learning frameworks
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech trends (NIS2 compliance, generative AI ethics, carbon-negative tech)
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D budgets and managing global cross-functional teams
- Patents or peer-reviewed publications in distributed systems or sustainable technology
- Proficiency in AWS/Azure/GCP quantum services and Kubernetes orchestration
- Track record of mentoring talent into C-suite or VP-level positions
