Responsibilities
- Design and prototype scalable architecture for AI/ML systems with 2026+ scalability requirements
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing proof-of-concepts for emerging technologies
- Conduct technology horizon scanning and market analysis for future innovation opportunities
- Document architectural blueprints and implementation guidelines for next-gen systems
- Collaborate with product teams to align technical strategy with 5-year business vision
- Mentor junior engineers in future-proof development methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in software architecture with 5+ years in AI/ML systems
- Proven experience with distributed systems and cloud-native architectures (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or generative AI
- Expertise in programming languages: Python, Rust, or Go with strong architectural patterns
- Track record of leading technical initiatives from concept to production
- MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Published research or patents in future technology domains preferred
