Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for 2026-era technologies (quantum-AI hybrids, bio-integrated systems)
- Architect scalable solutions addressing climate resilience and human-machine symbiosis
- Collaborate with MIT/Stanford partners on 5-year technology roadmaps
- Secure $10M+ in innovation grants for experimental projects
- Mentor a team of 12 specialists across 3 global innovation hubs
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Drive patent portfolio expansion (target: 50+ new IP filings)
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or related field (or equivalent breakthrough experience)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or neuromorphic computing
- Proven track record of scaling tech initiatives from lab to production
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains (quantum, bio-AI, climate tech)
- Experience securing $5M+ in government/private innovation funding
- Portfolio of 3+ commercialized technologies with >1M users
- Fluency in Python, Qiskit, and neuromorphic SDKs
- Exceptional systems thinking for complex socio-technical challenges
