Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, identifying high-impact emerging domains (quantum computing, neurotech, Web4.0)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and commercial teams to prototype future-critical solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify disruptive threats and opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to the executive board and investor committees with data-driven insights
- Build and manage an internal 'Future Technologies' incubation program with $5M annual R&D budget
- Represent the company at global tech summits and publish thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure strategic adoption and ROI of future-critical initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of scaling disruptive innovations from concept to market
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology, or decentralized systems)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with a focus on innovation management
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience influencing C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Published author or speaker at top-tier conferences (Web Summit, CES, or similar)
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., scenario planning, Delphi technique)
