Responsibilities
- Lead market research and technology forecasting to identify emerging trends with 2026+ impact
- Develop strategic roadmaps for integrating next-gen technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech interfaces)
- Present visionary blueprints to executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Partner with product teams to prioritize R&D initiatives based on future viability
- Monitor global tech policy and regulatory shifts affecting long-term innovation
- Build and lead a specialized foresight team of futurists and domain experts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting tech adoption cycles (portfolio of published research preferred)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Experience advising C-suite on technological disruption scenarios
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/MBA/PhD) or equivalent industry impact
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex concepts into compelling narratives
