What you'll do: Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies, develop strategic roadmaps for AI/quantum/IoT integration, and spearhead innovation initiatives that redefine industry standards. You'll present to C-suite executives and influence our multi-billion dollar R&D investments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI, Web3)
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with 2026-2030 business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops with engineering, product, and design teams
- Analyze market trends to identify disruptive opportunities and competitive threats
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Manage innovation pipeline from concept to pilot implementation
- Collaborate with venture capital partners to scout emerging startups
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, IoT, biotech)
- Proven track record of launching disruptive tech initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and boards
- Strong network within tech innovation and venture capital communities
- Certification in strategic foresight or innovation management preferred
