Responsibilities
- Lead strategic research and development of next-generation technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, blockchain, etc.)
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align technological initiatives with long-term business goals
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies through market analysis, patent research, and competitive intelligence
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps with measurable milestones and KPIs
- Manage cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and researchers in prototype development
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders through compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish industry partnerships and academic collaborations to accelerate innovation
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership within tech/AI/quantum sectors
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies from concept to market
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, generative AI, Web3, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience managing multi-million dollar R&D budgets and cross-functional global teams
- Strong network within tech innovation ecosystems (VCs, research institutions, startups)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
