Responsibilities
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for commercial viability by 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning technological innovations with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable R&D priorities
- Analyze global tech landscapes to identify disruptive threats and opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership with data-driven impact projections
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and startups to accelerate innovation adoption
- Monitor ethical implications and regulatory frameworks of future technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic tech planning or innovation management within tech/consulting
- Proven track record forecasting tech trends (e.g., published industry reports)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into strategic insights
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and influencing high-stakes decisions
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) or Technology Foresight
