Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives for 2026+
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence, and sustainable tech
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify disruptive innovation opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets and vendor/partner ecosystems
- Mentor R&D teams on emerging technologies and future-proofing methodologies
- Author thought leadership publications and industry keynote presentations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of launching next-gen products/services in Fortune 500 environments
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, neurotech, or climate tech
- Executive presence with board-level presentation experience
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business (MBA/MSc preferred)
- Certifications in innovation management (e.g., CEIM, CTO School) or emerging tech domains
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or major industry conferences
