Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives targeting 2026 technological milestones in quantum AI and biotech integration
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning emerging technologies with market demands and societal impact
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions and Fortune 500 companies for collaborative innovation
- Present future-vision frameworks to C-suite executives and investment committees
- Oversee pilot programs for next-gen tech including neural interfaces and climate modeling systems
- Ensure ethical compliance and sustainability principles in all technological developments
- mentor junior researchers in future-tech methodologies and strategic thinking
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years in emerging tech strategy
- Proven track record developing 5+ year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, or climate-tech simulation
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals (2019-2023)
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding from government/private sources
- Proficiency in strategic foresight frameworks (e.g., Delphi Method, Horizon Scanning)
- Exceptional presentation skills to technical and non-technical stakeholders
