Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in quantum computing, AI governance, and biotech convergence
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with disruptive potential by 2026
- Build strategic partnerships with research institutions and government innovation labs
- Present technology impact analyses to C-suite stakeholders and investment committees
- Mentor a team of futurists and technical architects in next-gen solution development
- Drive sustainable tech integration across product portfolios
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies or futures planning
- Proven track record in launching at least one breakthrough tech product/service
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, generative AI, neurotech, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or MBA with tech focus
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature Futures, or equivalent tier publications
- Experience leading global R&D teams with $50M+ budgets
- Proficiency in technology forecasting frameworks (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Security clearance preferred for government partnership roles
