Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional sprints to identify and validate emerging technologies with 2026 market viability
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, and biocompatible interfaces
- Partner with venture capital teams to scout and acquire disruptive startups
- Present future-tech frameworks to C-suite executives and board members
- Drive ethical technology governance frameworks for next-gen deployments
- Lead innovation workshops with Fortune 500 clients on future-readiness
- Manage $5M+ R&D portfolio for experimental technology incubation
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy with 3+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record launching products using quantum, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Deep knowledge of exponential technology trends (Singularity University preferred)
- Experience with scenario planning for 5-10 year technological horizons
- Strong network with academic research labs (MIT Media Lab, Singularity, etc.)
- Certified in Technology Foresight or equivalent (e.g., CFTE, APF)
- Presentation skills for executive audiences with 50+ keynotes delivered
- Portfolio demonstrating technology commercialization for 2026+ markets
