Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech
- Analyze emerging tech trends (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology, decentralized systems) and assess commercial viability
- Develop patent strategies for proprietary technologies and secure $10M+ in innovation grants
- Partner with venture capital firms to identify and acquire promising startups
- Present strategic technology briefings to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish ethical frameworks for AI deployment and responsible tech development
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech innovation
- Proven track record in commercializing breakthrough technologies (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology)
- Experience securing $5M+ in government/venture innovation funding
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in IEEE Nature Science or peer-reviewed journals
- Strong network with global tech innovation hubs (Silicon Valley, Shenzhen, Berlin)
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, scenario planning)
