Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies with 3-5 year impact potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology integration across business units
- Conduct competitive intelligence and market opportunity assessments
- Facilitate innovation workshops with C-suite executives and technical teams
- Manage technology incubation projects from concept to pilot stage
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to the board
- Build and maintain relationships with venture capitalists and research institutions
- Monitor ethical implications and regulatory landscapes of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven experience with emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical information
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication experience
- Track record of launching or scaling technology-driven initiatives
- Deep understanding of technology commercialization processes
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
