Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum AI, neuromorphic chips, etc.) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in partnership with MIT, Stanford, and NASA research labs
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board of directors
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget and vendor relationships with tech pioneers
- Author white papers on future technology impacts for industry conferences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of launching 3+ breakthrough technologies to market
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence, or space tech
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or similar tier-1 journals
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain) for classified projects
- Fluency in Mandarin or Japanese for global collaboration
