Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies with disruptive potential (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AI ethics frameworks)
- Develop comprehensive 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to foster innovation and technology adoption across departments
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscaping in emerging tech domains
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Monitor regulatory landscapes and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic planning within tech or innovation consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, biotech, quantum, etc.)
- Proven track record of developing future-focused technology roadmaps
- Exceptional analytical and systems thinking capabilities
- Strong presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
- Familiarity with technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
