Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for disruptive technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AI governance) and assess commercial viability
- Develop strategic roadmaps for 2026+ technology adoption across product lines
- Champion ethical frameworks for emerging tech implementation and stakeholder education
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Present technology futures to investors, regulators, and industry consortiums
- Build and mentor a team of technology futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR)
- Proven track record of launching future-focused initiatives
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., WFS, Foresight Practitioner)
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
