Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients in AI, blockchain, and quantum computing
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and futurists in prototype development
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 market potential
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives on emerging tech risks and opportunities
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D grants through DARPA, NSF, and private innovation funds
- Pioneer industry standards for ethical AI deployment and quantum security frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in tech strategy with 3+ years in emerging technologies (AI/quantum/IoT)
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar journals on future tech adoption
- Proven track record of scaling technologies from lab to market ($100M+ impact)
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain) for federal partnership projects
- Expertise in scenario planning tools (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle, Delphi Method)
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/Java/R preferred)
