Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum, AI, and biotech convergence
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with $10M+ market potential
- Develop patent strategies and intellectual property frameworks
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and design teams
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Forge strategic partnerships with research institutions and startups
- Drive adoption of ethical AI and sustainable tech principles
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D innovation budget
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, or sustainable tech
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience securing federal grants or corporate innovation funding
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals
- Strong background in patent law and intellectual property strategy
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and executive audiences
