Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration) through 2030
- Conduct horizon scanning and technology impact assessments to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop implementation roadmaps for pilot programs with 20+ cross-functional stakeholders
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members with data-backed insights
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for R&D collaboration
- Monitor global tech policy trends and their implications for business strategy
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies and innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic planning with 5+ years in emerging technologies or futurism
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 breakthrough tech initiatives
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and technology adoption curves
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and influencing technology investment decisions
