You'll lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions while presenting findings to C-suite executives and venture partners. This position includes equity participation and an annual innovation budget of $50,000 for personal R&D projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead research initiatives in quantum computing, neural interfaces, and climate-tech innovation
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate emerging technologies into commercial offerings
- Present strategic briefings to executive stakeholders and external investors
- Manage a $2M annual innovation portfolio with ROI tracking and KPI analysis
- Mentor junior researchers and coordinate with academic partners including MIT and Stanford
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 scale
- Proven track record in launching at least two breakthrough technologies
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or sustainable energy systems
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level experience
- Published author in peer-reviewed tech journals or conference proceedings
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
