Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) through market research and competitive intelligence
- Develop 2026+ innovation roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruption opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate breakthrough technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Manage R&D budget allocation and resource optimization for future-focused projects
- Document and disseminate technological foresight through whitepapers and thought leadership
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of anticipating tech disruptions and translating them into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, Web3, AR/VR, or sustainable tech)
- Experience developing multi-year innovation roadmaps with measurable KPIs
- Strong financial acumen for budget management and ROI analysis
- Exceptional presentation skills for influencing executive decision-making
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future studies
