Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year technology roadmaps for quantum-AI convergence and biotech-digital interfaces
- Lead cross-functional labs to prototype commercial applications for nascent technologies
- Develop patent portfolios and IP monetization strategies for emerging tech verticals
- Establish strategic partnerships with national labs and academic research institutions
- Present disruptive innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage $50M+ innovation budgets for experimental technology incubation
- Author thought leadership publications on 2026+ technology convergence points
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Quantum Computing, AI, or Emerging Technologies with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies (3+ successful launches)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum machine learning, synthetic biology interfaces, or neuromorphic computing
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or equivalent industry impact
- Experience securing $100M+ in R&D funding or government innovation grants
- Strategic advisory role at Fortune 500 or unicorn startup in emerging tech
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for frontier technologies (FDA, FCC, etc.)
