Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 technology roadmap integrating quantum computing, AI governance, and circular economy principles
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives bridging academic research and commercial applications
- Develop strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Stanford HAI, and global innovation networks
- Drive patent development in emerging fields (target: 15+ filings annually)
- Present future-tech frameworks to C-suite and board of directors
- Mentor junior researchers in emerging technology ethics and implementation
- Secure $2M+ annual R&D funding through strategic proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or related field with 5+ years strategy experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Deep expertise in technology ethics frameworks and regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA)
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or equivalent industry white papers
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) or venture capital for R&D
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem
- Certification in Technology Foresight (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent
